The route heads East along the Greensand Way and passes Boughton Monchelsea Place in 16th century. Back along the river Beult with pub lunch/picnic at Stile Bridge a little over half way round. At the time of input I have not walked the route but there appears to be only two hills, one down when we leave the Greensand Way and the other up, when we rejoin it. If the blossom is out good views are promised at the end. Check website for changes.
The CP is behind the church and reached from Linton Hill (A229)

We will have lunch at the Three Horseshoes at Knockholt Pound. There is an optional visit to The Harrow followed by a walk along the North Downs Way to the Tally Ho then to finish at the Old Jail. The pub is on the R8 bus route to Biggin Hill or Orpington. Please note that a late finish is expected but it may be possible to leave the walk before the end.
Meet at the station entrance. As this is a linear walk it is not practicable to arrive by car. There is a stopping train from Charing Cross which leaves Orpington at 10.42 and arrives Knockholt at 10.48. The station is in zone 6. It is also possible to arrive on a 402 bus.

Meet in Dene Park car park. From Shipbourne head south on A227 for 1.5 miles. Slow down and turn very sharp left just after sign for Poult Wood, on to Puttenden Road, ignoring another left turn at the same junction. Car park is on left after 0.5 miles.

If travelling on A26 from Crowborough towards Uckfield after c 1 mile look for turning on the left into Sheep Plane at bollard for Rotherfield and Jarvis brook. After 10 yards turn right into Sweethaws Lane. CP on right after about 2/3 of a mile at walk leaders home after going through the golf course. Please try and share cars as limited palking. Toilet facilities at start.

We head to Titsey Place, climb and move on to pick up the Vanguard Way, before turning towards Tatsfield for picnic/pub lunch. Shorter, fairly easy afternoon, with more good views from The North Downs Way.
Meet in CP. From Westerham, take A25 going West, then turn left on Goodley Hatch Road and right on B269. CP is on the right, not far from turn off to Limpsfield Chart Church.

We head S through Holly Hill Wood to the North Downs Way to Ryash Wood. Then N to visit the 'Coldrum Long Barrow' with spectacular. views. As walk through the stones, the trees may be adorned with decorations similar to wind chimes and dream catchers adding atmosphere to the 5000 year old site. Then N to Harvel and the 'Amazon & Tiger' pub/picnic lunch. We return via Rochester Forest, Mount Ephrain and Hanginghill Wood to the CP. There are a few hills but worth the effort.
M20 south turn off on A227 at Wrotham then branch right through Vigo village on Whitehorse Hill then turn left on Holly Hill. CP one third mile on left.

This walk takes us through pick your own country with two farm shops en route, as well as numerous orchards, woods, paddocks and pastureland with minimum road walking. This is a fairly easy walk with one short climb up through a pine wood and just a few stiles.
The walk starts at the Green in front of the Camden Arms Hotel in Pembury. There is a car park at the pub and street parking around the Green.

A Midsummer Day's Walk

A longish but fairly flat walk in the morning across mixed farming land and through the village of Hucking to emerge on the North Downs above Hollingbourne. Picnic here or continue into Hollingbourne for pub lunch at The Dirty Habit. Afterwards we return along the North Downs Way with hopefully good views across Kent. The afternoon distance however is shorter but more strenuous and steps are cut in the Way at the steeper points to assist with the ups and downs.
Meet in large car park at Country Park. Small parking fee applicable. Exit from M2 at Jct. 5 and take A249 towards Maidstone and M20. Directions to Country Park indicated on left after about 2 miles along A249 dual carriageway. Turning into Country Park indicated after Shell garage on left and drive into car park.

A figure of eight taking in views over the Darent Valley. In the morning we pass Dunstall Priory on our way to Romney Street, returning via Upper Austen Lodge. After a pub or picnic lunch in Shoreham we follow the Darent to Lullingstone Park, climb to the west of the valley, visit Shoreham's famous white cross (commonly believed to commemorate a second world war air crash on the spot but in fact constructed in 1921) and return via Home Farm.

A wooded hilly walk through the Surrey Hills with fine views .From Abinger Common we head towards Holmbury St Mary and Peaslake before climbing Pitch Hill(843ft) and Holmbury Hill (857ft) before a pub or picnic lunch. We return via Upfolds Farm and Abinger Bottom.
Meet in small CP beside St James Church. Traveling W on the A25 from Dorking, turn L into Raikes Lane about a mile after passing through Wotton. Turn L again into Abinger Lane. CP is about a mile on the R.
