A beautiful walk with good views, two thirds of the walk is on the forest with a spectacular view from the CP at the start, looking SW along the S Downs. We start by making our way S along the Weald Way to Hendall Manor Farm where we fork S to Maresfield for a lunch stop at the Chequers Inn. The return journey will be via Lampool Farm and The Airman's Grave.
*If going south on the B2026 from Hartfield, Bushy Willow CP on the Ashdown Forest will be found on right after about 2.5 miles. If you reach junction with B2188 coming in from the left at King's Standing you have passed the CP, turn round and the CP will be found on the left after about 2-300 yards.

Limehouse to Little Venice via the Regent's Canal

*Head to the eastern end of the platform and take the exit signed Branch Road. Meet by the foot of the stairs.

A winter's walk around the River Teise. Outwards by Scotney Castle grounds, Kilndown and Finchcocks then back to Lamberhurst for picnic or lunch at The Chequers Inn. Afterwards, outwards by the local vineyard and Hook Green then return to Lamberhurst. Some easy hills, flat bits and probably mud in February.
*Meet in the public car park just after The Chequers Inn in The Broadway which is in the village centre. If car park is full there is plenty of space in the roads nearby. WC in car park.
